For over 1,500 years, the mountains of Geumsan have grown a root the Joseon royal court once reserved for its own table. Ginseng was never an everyday plant in Korea, it was a tribute, a gift between families, a small ceremony of care.
Ginseng Power Korea was built on a simple idea: that this heritage deserves to travel further than a single peninsula, without losing what made it worth protecting in the first place.
Direct sourcing, no detours
We work directly with growers in Geumsan County, the region historically credited with producing the country's finest ginseng thanks to its mineral-rich soil and clean upstream water. Every root is harvested at six years, the age Korean tradition considers the peak of the plant's development, then processed following methods passed down through generations of local farmers.
A tradition, not a trend
Long before "wellness" became a marketing word, Korean households were passing down small daily rituals built around ginseng, a stick before a long day, a honeyed slice shared after a meal, a spoonful of concentrate stirred into warm water on a cold morning. We didn't invent this. We're simply making it easier to find outside Korea.
